Our three main services

Our Services

Our work is usually very diverse, covering a whole range of social and environmental issues. Broadly, however, it tends to fall into one of three main categories:

The coronavirus pandemic has changed everyday life and work for literally billions of people across the globe. Britain has been one of the worst affected countries in the world and to regain control, it’s vital that everyone does their bit.

For our part, we’re organising community awareness events, to show people who and why to use protective equipment properly. We explore how to wear masks; what sorts of face covering are effective and sustainable; and why rigorous, regular hand-washing is important.

Together with this work, we’ve also developed a partnership with Neo Plus Pro, a key supplier of protective equipment. We have taken a consignment of 30,000 masks and hand sanitisers, and we’ve already donated over 10,000 units, free of charge, to a host of beneficiaries. Examples include Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Care Network, Age UK and various mosques, schools and community groups across the North West.

We’re making a difference but we need to do more. We need more volunteers to help with our storage and distribution work, and there could also be opportunities to help with awareness-raising events in schools, colleges and community centres.

Please see our Get Involved page if you’d like to lend a helping hand.

Our Services - Covid 19

We support numerous causes in the UK and overseas. As part of a global network that can call upon the expertise of leading scientists, influencers and professionals, we’re keen to spread the word about conservation projects and about the simple steps we can all take to reduce environmental damage.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, we’ve had to put many of our projects and fundraising efforts on hold, so we’re currently focusing on promoting our causes via social media and other online channels. Raising awareness is a worthy goal in itself but we’re also trying hard to raise funds for some of the world’s most important (and sometimes neglected) environmental projects.

In the longer term, as things return to normal, we want to take a leading role; organising new projects of our own and working with volunteers, funders and other stakeholders to bring about lasting change. Some of our causes will relate to projects in the UK; others to projects further afield. If you like to know more, please get in touch
